Why do I receive e-mails from Fincaloe?

By contacting Fincaloe or purchasing something from our webshop or workshops, you agree
to receive
promotional messages about our products, services and events. You can unsubscribe at any
time by sending
us an e-mail.

Can I work at Fincaloe?

All the people involved in Fincaloe are handpicked based on our needs and their
knowledge. This means
that if we need to increase our staffing, we mainly look in our network.
If you are interested in becoming a WWOOFer on our plantation in Spain, send us an
e-mail and tell us
about yourself.
Adoption

How do I adopt a plant?

Adoptions are made by visiting our webshop, please click here.

How long is an adoption?
-
An adoption last for 12 months at a time and are paid annually in advance. In connection
to your
fourth delivery, you will receive a request to continue with your adoption period for
another year.

How often will I receive leaves?
-
All leaves are shipped by the end of each quarter - March, June, September and December.
In order to
receive your products on quarter-time, make sure you start your adoption no later than
the 10th of the
shipping month.

Do I pay for shipping?

Shipping within EU and handling costs are included.

Is the Aloe vera plant mine?
-
When you have been an adopter for at least one year, the Aloe vera plant is yours. You
can then pick it
up at our plantation in Spain r in Belgium. The pick-up must be done within 3 months
after your
cancellation has been approved.

What if I have an allergy?

It's important to let us know if you have any food allergies. Edible and drinkable at
our workshops may
include, but are not limited to:

- Arborescens

Why is it needed to wear gloves?

It's not the prettiest, but we prioritize hygiene, health and well-being. If one of the
participants
has, for example, a wound on his hand, it should not affect the gel, food and the other
participants.

Can I visit you all year round?

Yes, our plantation is open for tours all year round. We may be fully booked, so let us
know in advance
when you plan to visit us, so we can confirm the day

What grows when?

On our guided tours you will see Aloe vera plants all year round. Depending on the time
of year you
visit us, you can see the following:
- Almonds (Sept - Dec)
- Avocados (May - Dec)
- Carob (All year)
- Grapes (March - June)
- Mangos (Sept - Dec)
- Oranges (May - Dec)
